short but sweet

today was the first successful day for sticking to the plan of getting up at 5am to read my bible.

.

nothing really exciting and/or traumatic happened today. the sun being out was depressing b/c i can't see it from where i sit for 9+ hours. but other than that, the day just floated by.

.

but i love eating dinner on my porch with the ladyfolk in my life. and after dinner, i like to kick the soccer ball or throw the frisbee around. so praise god for 70 degrees fahrenheit!!!

i did figure out that my favorite section of the good book is proverbs and ecclesiastes. i just love the wisdom, deep thinking, and insight into everyday life.

favorite bible verse read today: "whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." (ecclesiastes 9:10) - i have this inscribed on a small stone figuring on my desk. it's carved on a square base which is holding up a baseball. good reminder to have staring at me all day long in my cubicle cell.

here's an old school picture of mine, taken almost 3 years ago to the day (april 19, 2005). this is when i still had a film camera and before wal-mart would give you a cd of your pictures... i had to scan them on to the computer (man am i getting old!), so it's a bit fuzzy, but a good picture nonetheless.
