aarrrgh firstmerit!

i think the first clock i saw at firstmerit this morning said 6:57 a.m. other than my luncheon, which ate my time from 10:15-1:45, my day was a cluster of aggrevation. and today was probably the worst it's been. but tomorrow's another day, more importantly, the last day of my work week!

the luncheon was the highlight of my day. a good speaker on a good (boring for you) subject. and there was food. and that's always good. the only part i didn't enjoy was the car ride. it was nice b/c it was a break from work, but the conversation amongst my three co-workers was depressing. just about things that didn't matter, like pointless television shows, cigarettes, and the like. it's a sad world out there aside from life with god. as usual, i stayed silent, though prayed quite consistently that the holy spirit would light a fire in my soul that burned second only to elijah. not today, but someday.

home was nice, though it saddened me that the girls weren't very good listeners for mommy today. i guess we all have days like that: the ones where we just happen to wake up on the wrong side of the bed. that makes things tough when your bed is right up against the wall. as with work, tomorrow's another day. unlike work, it is not the last day of my daddy days this week.

favorite bible verse read today: "for the eyes of the lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." (2 chronicles 16:9) - fully committed. ouch.
