short-n-sweet

i try to live by the golden rule. even at work. unfortunately, that doesn't mean my fellow bankers live by the same standards. i guess this is what jesus meant by turning the other cheek. even when we don't receive back the respect we dish out, a christian should continue to remain respectful. and i do. without unncessary, gossipy details, that was the jist of my day at work. i did get to go see a customer today, which doesn't happen often. but when it does, it's exciting stuff.

an 80% of 1-2 inches of snow tonight. what is god thinking up there?! we prayed with the girls at bed time that it would stop snowing and get warmer. let's face it, disc golf weather is right around the corner, and daddy's getting impatient.

sonja seems to capture the saying of the day award a lot, but she had another one tonight. she didn't know it, but she made us feel old. you've done this to your parents, asked something like, 'what's this?' as you hold up an 8-track. sonja did it with a cassette tape. ouch!

favorite bible verse read today: 'if a man sins against another man, god may mediate for him; but if man sins against the lord, who will intercede for him?' (1 samuel 2:25) - a passage about god's plan to introduce christ into the world so we can be mediated for, way back in the old testament. this statement was made around 1100 b.c.!!!

favorite picture taken today: i didn't get a chance to take any pictures today (typical as of late), but sarah did:
